On June 4, 2019 at 8:28pm, Tigard Police were dispatched to a fatal traffic crash involving an automobile and bicyclist near the area of 13770 SW Pacific Hwy. As a result, four adult males were taken into custody and charged with Commercial Sexual Solicitation. During the most recent High Visibility Enforcement (HVE) campaign which began on December 15th and ended January 1, 2018; 5 drivers were arrested for DUII and one driver charged with MIP (Minor in Possession). Tigard Police are investigating after a man's body was found along the Fanno Creek Trail. A man reported his home was burglarized in the 8400 block of SW Bonita Road. An employee of the Astro Gas Station located at 12885 SW Pacific Highway in Tigard, reported being robbed by an armed man. The investigation began the day prior when a Tigard Umpqua Bank employee contacted Tigard Police to advise that a subject currently inside the bank was attempting to cash a counterfeit check. U Text.
